Google's new 'Help me write' feature in Gmail links directly to Gemini. This lets Google Workspace users write emails quickly by answering simple questions.
How to use it:
Sign up to get access. Remember, it might not be available everywhere. If it's not in your country, you can try using a US-based VPN.
After signing in, click on the 'Help me write' option (it looks like a pencil with a star) when you're writing a new email.
Describe what your email is about in a short sentence, and the AI will create a draft for you.
You can tweak your email using options like Formalize, Elaborate, and Shorten.
Once you're happy with your email, give it a final check and hit "Send".
