  • Tesla reveals the futuristic two-door Robotaxi with no steering wheel, set for production in 2026.

  • A larger, self-driving Robovan capable of carrying 20 people was also announced.

  • Musk predicts the Optimus humanoid robot will be priced at $20,000-$30,000 and become Tesla's biggest product ever.

Make Videos with Just 2 Frames

Runway's AI video tool has received a new update, introducing a stunning feature. With this new capability, you can create a 10-second video just by defining the first and last frames.

According to a report by Tom's Guide, you can now provide the first and last images of a video to Runway Gen-3 Turbo, and the AI will fill in the frames between them to produce a 10-second video. In theory, this gives users much more control over video creation.

You can also choose not to give any text instructions, allowing the AI to generate the video based on its understanding of the first and last frames. However, you can still give specific directions to make the result closer to your needs.

To better understand the process, in the example below, a text prompt was used to generate the first frame, followed by another to create the final frame.

Finally, an additional frame was added to show the transition and overall structure of the video, which you can see here:

This new feature has been well-received by users on social media.

AMD Challenges Nvidia

AMD launches new AI-focused processors to rival Nvidia and Intel

  • AMD introduced the Ryzen AI PRO 300 processors, boasting 40% better performance than Intel's Core Ultra chips.

  • The Instinct MI325X AI accelerator, expected in late 2024, offers 1.8x more memory and 1.3x better bandwidth than Nvidia’s H200.

  • AMD also announced the 5th Gen EPYC CPUs, calling them the best for enterprise, AI, and cloud computing.

As AI continues to grow, AMD is positioning itself as a serious competitor in the high-demand AI processor market, challenging Nvidia and Intel with annual AI chip releases planned through 2026.
