Google AI Deal Exposed
Google is paying Samsung big money every month to make sure its AI assistant, Gemini, is pre-installed on Galaxy devices.
This move came to light during an antitrust trial in the U.S., raising questions about Google’s dominance in AI, not just search.
Samsung replaced its Bixby assistant with Google Gemini on the Galaxy S25 series.
A Google exec confirmed in court that the company pays Samsung monthly to keep Gemini pre-installed on One UI.
The deal lasts 2 years and includes a share of ad revenue from the Gemini app.
This shows Google is using the same aggressive strategy in AI dominance that it used in search. paying companies to shut out rivals. If the court rules against Google, it could ban future default deals and even force the company to sell Chrome or share search data with competitors.

Apple removes “Available now” claim for Apple Intelligence after U.S. ad watchdog warning
Apple deleted the phrase “Available now” from its Apple Intelligence page
The U.S. National Advertising Division (NAD) said the claim could mislead users
Features like Genmoji, AI-powered Siri, and Playground are not fully available yet
Apple’s move shows a shift toward more transparent advertising in AI. While Apple believes many features are ready, it chose to follow NAD’s advice to avoid misleading users, signaling a more cautious approach in promoting its AI tools.
