Automattic is Selling Users Post Data to OpenAI
Automattic which owns Tumblr and WordPress, is close to making deals to give data from user posts to OpenAI and Midjourney.
Users are not happy about this.
Automattic took content from Tumblr between 2014 and 2023 for a big data dump, but they also took private posts by accident.
This company is making a tool so users can say they don't want their data used, but it's not clear if they will remove data that was already shared.
Other big companies like Reddit and Shutterstock are also giving data to AI companies to train their models.

Go to Krea and sign in with your Gmail account.
Choose the "Upscale and Enhance" option.
Pick the "Image upload" option and choose a picture.
You'll see a prompt in the box under the picture.
Use this prompt to help you make your own pictures in tools like Midjourney and Dall-e in ChatGPT. You can also change the prompt to get different ideas.
