Can AI Reason? Apple Says Not Yet

Apple’s AI team just released a new paper saying that large language models (LLMs) like Meta’s and OpenAI’s still struggle when it comes to reasoning.

• A small tweak in how a question is asked can lead to wildly different answers, which kind of makes you think twice about trusting them.

Well, this research shows there are still major issues with how AIs reason. Right now, they’re not ready for serious decision-making, especially in situations where precise logic is key.
