Elon Musk Takes OpenAI to Court

Musk and Altman to Face Off in Court Over OpenAI’s Future

  • Elon Musk and Sam Altman have agreed to appear in court to settle the dispute over OpenAI’s transition to a for-profit model.

  • The hearing is set for December 2025, and both sides have requested that a jury not be involved.

  • OpenAI has dismissed Musk’s lawsuit as "baseless, pessimistic, and selfish."

This case could determine whether OpenAI remains partially non-profit or fully transitions into a for-profit company. The decision could impact the future of AI development and corporate control over powerful AI models.

OpenAI: DeepSeek Risks U.S. Security!

OpenAI has officially urged the U.S. government to ban DeepSeek, a Chinese AI startup, citing security risks. The company warns that DeepSeek is backed by the Chinese government and could pose threats to privacy and intellectual property.

  • OpenAI’s Chris Lehane stated in an official letter that DeepSeek operates under full Chinese government control.

  • The letter calls for a ban on Chinese AI models and chips in the U.S., including Huawei’s AI processors.

  • OpenAI accuses DeepSeek of copying its AI models, with research showing 74% of DeepSeek’s outputs resemble ChatGPT’s style.

This move highlights growing AI competition and security concerns between the U.S. and China. OpenAI aims to ensure that democratic AI principles remain dominant over authoritarian AI models controlled by the Chinese government.
