Meta's Fundamental AI Research (FAIR) group has released several new open-source AI models and techniques. These include tools for multimodal language tasks, text-to-music and audio generation, and detecting synthetic speech.

  • Chameleon: A family of language models (7B and 34B parameters) that handle image, audio, and text inputs.

  • JASCO: A new controllable text-to-music model from Meta that allows detailed input controls for generating music.

  • AudioSeal: The first audio watermarking model designed specifically for detecting AI-generated speech, available under a commercial license.

  • Multi-Token Prediction model: This model improves code autocompletion by predicting multiple tokens at once, enhancing both speed and capabilities.

How to Upscale Blurry Images

Have an old family photo that's blurry? Or a small, pixelated image you need to make bigger?

Here's how:

  1. Visit the Krea AI website and sign in with your email.

  2. Choose the "Upscale and Enhance" option.

  3. Upload your image from the menu on the left.

  4. Set the Upscaling Factor and click "Enhance."

  5. Krea works well with blurry photos, but pixelated ones might not turn out as clear.
