Tyler Perry Puts $800M Studio Expansion on Hold After Seeing OpenAI’s Sora
Tyler Perry stopped a big studio project after seeing OpenAI’s Sora, thinking AI progress will cause big job losses in entertainment.
He paused the $800M studio project after Sora’s debut on Feb.15. He said he already used AI for old-age makeup in two upcoming movies, saving a lot of time.
He can’t see how the industry can survive without rules to protect workers. He asked everyone in Hollywood to work together to protect workers.
