OpenAI has just introduced GPT-4o, a new super-smart model that can handle text, images, and audio all at once.

Here's what's new:

GPT-4o is better at everything: reading, seeing, listening, coding, and making stuff in languages other than English.
It's also cheaper, faster, and you can use it more often.

Cool upgrades for voices and more:

Now, it can talk back in real-time, show emotions, and mix voices with text and pictures.
In a demo, they showed it translating stuff instantly, two AI models watching live videos, and helping with teaching and coding.
OpenAI's blog also talks about making 3D things, creating new fonts, way better text in pictures, making sound effects, and more.
They're also making a new ChatGPT app for Macs that looks better and works right with your computer.

Everyone gets it for free:

GPT-4o, and all its features, are free for everyone now, even the fancy stuff like remembering things and studying data.
They're rolling it out now, so you'll get it soon if you use ChatGPT or the API. The new voice stuff will come later.

Now, AI can talk and understand things almost like a person. This is a huge deal.
