Google DeepMind made SIMA, an AI learning to play games like a human, not a super smart AI.
SIMA, which means Scalable, Instructable, Multiworld Agent, is only in research now.
SIMA will learn to play any video game, even ones without a clear path or big open worlds. It's not supposed to replace normal game AI but to be like another player in your group. It understands words and pictures to play.
Google worked with eight game makers to teach SIMA by playing games like No Man’s Sky and Goat Simulator 3. They didn't need to change the games for SIMA to play.

Google's AI chatbot Gemini won't talk about global elections this year. Google wants to avoid problems with its technology. If you ask Gemini about it, it'll say to use Google Search instead.
