Google AI Veo 2
Google has unveiled its new AI video model, Veo 2. This model can theoretically create 2-minute videos with 4K resolution, surpassing its competitor, OpenAI's Sora, in both duration and resolution.
Veo 2 can produce 2-minute videos at 4K resolution, though current tests limit output to 8 seconds at 720p quality.
Compared to OpenAI’s Sora, which creates 20-second clips at 1080p, Veo 2 offers higher theoretical quality and length.
Veo 2 is available on Google’s experimental platform VideoFX and will soon be accessible on Vertex AI for developers.
Veo 2 represents a significant step in AI-generated video technology, with improvements in video clarity, physics understanding, and dynamic motion. This development could lead to better creative tools for video makers and set new standards in AI video generation.
