OpenAI adds image editing to DALL-E 3

OpenAI added a new feature to edit DALL-E 3 images right in ChatGPT. You can now easily change stuff in your AI-made pictures:

  • Use the DALL-E editor to pick parts of the picture and make changes.

  • You can add, delete, or change things in any specific area of the image.

  • This feature works on both the web and mobile app versions of ChatGPT.

OpenAI took a while to catch up with Midjourney, which already had similar features.

  5. Describe the change and click "Patch Enhance" to see your updated image.
