Last May, Anthropic, a very popular company which specialize in AI research, got $450 million from investors like Google and Salesforce.
This was just the start of a big series of investments.

By August, Anthropic got another $100 million from two Asian telecom companies. Then Amazon gave it $4 billion, and Google added another $2 billion.

This month, a company called Menlo Ventures agreed to give Anthropic $750 million.

In total, Anthropic got $7.3 billion in a year.
