Adobe Beta: AI Video Generator
Adobe Launches Beta Version of AI Video Generator "Generate Video" for All Users
Adobe's AI video tool, Generate Video, is now available to everyone in beta form, after a limited release last year.
Users can create videos from text descriptions (Text-to-Video) or image references (Image-to-Video) with controls for style, camera angles, and shot dynamics.
The beta offers improved 1080p resolution at 24 fps, but video length is still limited to 5 seconds, unlike OpenAI's Sora which can create 20-second videos.
Additional Features:
Adobe's Firefly platform now includes new tools like Scene to Image for making reference images and Translate Audio and Video for dubbing in over 20 languages.
Two new plans are available: Firefly Standard at $9.99/month with 2,000 credits for 5-second videos, and Firefly Pro at $29.99/month with 7,000 credits.
The fight in AI video creation is growing, with players like OpenAI's Sora and Google's Veo joining in. Adobe's user-friendly models keep it strong, but the changing market will show who stays on top.

Google Tests Age Guess Model
Google is testing a machine learning model to estimate users' ages. This helps make the platform safer for young people by checking if users are under 18 and adjusting settings.
The model uses data like browsing history, YouTube watch patterns, and account age to guess users' ages.
If a user is likely under 18, Google offers safety settings and age verification using a selfie, credit card, or government ID.
Safety features include enabling SafeSearch to filter harmful content and limiting unsuitable YouTube videos for minors.
This step follows global rules like COPPA and the Kids Online Safety Act. It shows that tech companies are serious about creating age-appropriate digital spaces for everyone.
