AI Images That Look Too Real

The Flux AI image generator, developed by Black Forest Labs, is one of the standout products from this company, which was founded by some former experts from Stable Diffusion. In its version 1.1, Flux AI introduces a new feature called Raw Mode for creating more realistic images.

According to PetaPixel, the Raw Mode in Flux AI isn't directly comparable to Adobe's Camera Raw or other RAW editing tools but still aligns with photography and imaging. The company describes this feature as designed for "content creators seeking authenticity."

Create More Realistic and Creative Images with Raw Mode

Black Forest Labs explains that Raw Mode captures the genuine feel of candid photography. It helps users create images that look less artificial and more natural to the viewer.

Additionally, compared to other text-to-image AI services, Raw Mode significantly enhances diversity in human subjects and improves the realism of nature photography.

The company has also shared example images generated using this feature. As seen in the samples, it's remarkably hard to tell that these images were AI-generated—they appear almost lifelike, except for some humorous examples, like an octopus wearing a hat in a bathtub.

Ultra Mode for Higher Clarity

Flux AI version 1.1 also includes a feature called Ultra Mode, which allows users to generate images with four times the clarity of standard specifications while staying true to the original prompt.

Black Forest Labs claims that, unlike many models that slow down significantly at higher resolutions, Flux AI maintains impressive performance. They state that their AI generates images about 2.5 times faster than similar high-resolution models.
